Google knows who they are and if your site is listed in the human verified directory (meaning that someone looked at your site and found that the description and content matches the category chosen to have it listed in), then you know that your content is relevant to the description you gave. Find directories for your market (the Google things like sewing Boston directory or whatever your place / s and some are marketed in the list
News Sites – In many news sites allowing you to send comments on them. No spam, but there are some relevant articles to your site and after some comments. Its not advised that you place your link within the same article (unless you think that applies), but have a link to your profile.
Sites with high PageRank – This is the key. It makes little sense to be linked to sites page rank of your site without page rank. You want sites with high page rank linking to you.
